Assignment 22A - Elevator Pitch No. 3
Reflection
Overall, from the reviews on my last elevator pitch everyone though I did an overall great job. They though I was very professional, knew my product well, was prepared for what I was going to say, and got to the point in a timely manner. I though everyone provide great feedback and were really positive and supportive of my pitch. I did not receive any constructive criticism; however, I did receive some on my first idea napkin about my target market. They though I should include people that go to libraries who are not UF students. Thus, in this pitch I included that are market would not only be UF students, but also non UF students, faculty, and visitors. I felt more comfortable in front of the camera this time and definitely knew my pitch a lot better and was more comfortable reading it. Third time is definitely the charm!

Okay, I love your last four words which are basically your motto: "We Have The Answers." That is so true, you place so many points on why I would need your product. That is something I need on a regular basis. I honestly need a charger, I lost mine about 3 weeks ago and haven't gotten enough motivation to buy one. You have come a long way in your pitches and you are doing a great job!
ReplyDeleteI can tell that this elevator pitch was the most comfortable for you. I feel the same way about mine. I think that this is a great example of how practicing a speech like this can make you feel more comfortable when you need to actually present it to investors. Practice can turn this into muscle memory, allowing you to focus more on your body language and really selling your vision.
ReplyDeleteHey Jamie, after watching your pitch I noticed a lot of improvement from your first two. You seem more comfortable, confident, and passionate about what you are trying to sell. You did an excellent job of really pin-pointing your target consumers, by making it known that it will not be limited to UF students but to anyone in need of the service. I also like how you spoke about the application that would make the whole rental process a lot easier. Great pitch!
