Assignment 14A – Halfway Reflection

Tenaciousness is a Competency
Some of the behaviors I have used to keep up with the requirements of this class are organizational skills, attention to deal, and responsibility. There are a lot of little assignment, so it is important that you keep on top of due date and directions. I use a planner to stay organized and to make sure I always complete every assignment on time and to my best ability.

Tenaciousness is Also About Attitude
I felt like giving up when I had UF career fair, as well as three exams and many assignments for this course. I was extremely overwhelmed with everything I had to complete in one week. My hard work and determination pulled me through and gave me the strength to complete all of my assignments, study for my exams, and attend career fair to my best ability. I feel like I have developed a tenacious attitude during the last few months because this is my hardest semester at UF so far. In addition, I have to put the hardest work into all of my courses.

Three Tips
I would offer students taking this class next semester to write down all of your assignments from the syllabus in a planner at the beginning of the semester, to take advantage of all extra credit opportunities, and to make sure you watch every lecture.

  1. Hey Jamie! I have also had to improve my organizational skills for this course. The fact that we have two constant assignments every week, really keeps you on your toes. I am extremely grateful for the fact that we haven’t had any exams for this course because I don’t think I would have been able to survive Proctor U in two classes!

  2. Organizational skills are definitely an important competency to have in this class since the class is comprised of only assignments. Using a planner is a great way to stay organized and make sure that you don’t miss any deadlines. I totally understand how you felt overwhelmed when you had three exams, career fair, and assignments due for this class too.

  3. Hey Jamie,

    Organizational skills are something that have also needed to improve for me as well as there are so many assignments to worry about in this class. I think using a planner is a great idea as seeing things physically written down helps you remember things more easily. It is crazy how a simple thing like using a planner can help someone get through a busy week of exams and assignments.
