She shares a lot in common with others in my opportunity; however, she said she would not have had this need when she was in college. She said that when she studied in the library she did rely on her computer entirely and when she did use it to study she always had her charger. Assignment 8A – Solving the Problem Opportunity As a result of the constant, amplified pressure to do well on exams, students at the University of Florida often study at the major UF libraries such as Marston, Library West, and Norman. Unfortunately, many students have the leave the library and pause their studies because their computer battery has died. As a result, they have to waste their limited study time to go back to their residence to retrieve their computer chargers before they can continue their studies.   Solution A company can be created that has vending machines placed at all major UF libraries. The vending machine will allow you to rent an array of computer chargers from the most popular computers. These will be available for Apple products, as well as, PC products. Assignment 6A – Identifying Opportunities in Economic & Regulatory Trends Economic Opportunity 1: Strengthening Global Demand I found an economic opportunity for American goods to become more competitive abroad. This is a result of the growth in global GDP, which is protected to be at 4% in 2018. When the economies abroad are stronger and wealthier, there is more demand for US goods and exports. Thus, this leads me to believe that there is definitely an economic opportunity for American goods to become more competitive and more sought after. Both the United States and countries abroad are the prototypical customer of this opportunity because with higher GDP, there are stronger economies, more spending, and more money circulating.
